Before migration
- List all existing mailboxes.
- Check mailbox sizes.
- Confirm user accounts required in Google Workspace.
- Confirm DNS access.
- Decide whether old email needs to be migrated.
- Plan a cutover time.
What changes?
New email delivery will move to Google once MX records are updated. Users will sign in through Google rather than webmail. Devices and mail clients may need to be reconfigured.
Important note
Do not delete old cPanel mailboxes until migration has been checked and users confirm they have the email history they need.
